What is River Valley Road Rally?
River Valley Road Rally is our flagship rally event. Featuring a time-distance based structure, driver and co-pilots will navigate some of the best roads the Midwest has to offer.
What is Riverside Rally?
All of the fun without the added pressure of competition, the Riverside Rally event takes all of the experience of the River Valley Road Rally event and makes it more digestible. Featuring a more relaxed atmosphere, Riverside Rally is the perfect event for new rally teams or those who choose to move at a bit of a slower pace.
What is a Road Rally?
More common in Europe than it is in North America, a road rally event is a sanctioned event where teams drive from checkpoint to checkpoint, navigating a specific route of road. Along the way, teams may encounter traps, team challenges, and bonus point opportunities.
What kind of rally is River Valley Road Rally?
River Valley Road Rally and Riverside Rally are both time-distance based rally events. These events feature a hand curated route that changes every year. When teams arrive in the morning, they only have an approximate end location for the event. Throughout the day at the various checkpoints teams are given directions to their next checkpoint, a GPS coordinate for the next checkpoint, and a time limit.
What's all included in my ticket cost?
Each team registration ticket includes entry into the event for the teams driver and copilot. Additionally, included into your team’s ticket price is:
A unique rally livery kit made of high quality, wrap grade vinyl materials.
Hotel room for your driver and copilot at the end location
Dinner and entry into the awards ceremony in the evening after the event.
Eligibility into the trophy categories for each event
Team gear box that includes tees for both driver and copilot
Additional opportunities for giveaways, etc
Are the decals required?
Yes, we ask that all teams prepare their car for the rally event by sporting a rally livery. All livery kits are manufactured from high quality, wrap grade material that is paint safe and made to remove easily. Should your vehicle require a special circumstance, simply reach out to our team and we would be happy to find a solution that works for you.
Is this a race?
Absolutely not, The Riverside Rally and River Valley Road Rally events are made to enjoy the drive. Safety is our number one priority, and we politely ask that all participants obey all rules of the road.
Is speeding allowed?
Not only is speeding not allowed, it's discouraged. Teams that speed through the event will arrive at their checkpoints early, resulting in a deduction of points. Additionally, if teams are reported as speeding/driving recklessly, they may be disqualified from the event and asked not to return. No refunds will be given for teams that are disqualified for reckless driving.
What kind of cars are allowed to enter?
The River Valley Road Rally and Riverside Rally events are catered for automotive enthusiasts. As such, there are no real rules for the caliber of vehicles we host. With that being said, the River Valley Road Rally and Riverside Rally events are best enjoyed in an enthusiast minded vehicle.
